1, the ball switch can meet the environmental requirements, while the mercury switch because of its own material problems can not reach.
2, ball switch because of the conductive is through the metal bead trigger pin energized to generate signals, because the ball with the trigger pin contact area is small and the ball is active, so the conductive sometimes there will be flash off phenomenon, while the mercury switch is mercury with the trigger end contact, because the mercury is liquid, the contact surface is large and stable, generally speaking, the conductive effect is more stable.
